Xavier, was declared as somewhat of an albino at birth, having been born with clammy pale skin, white hair and golden eyes, which was abnormal even in the Hōrō Ribon clan. Now standing at around 5’7”, his skin is still semi-pale, but not to the point of looking like he’s sickly. His white hair is long in length and stops near his waist line. He usually keeps most of it behind him and occasionally wears it in a ponytail due to it getting in the way of some tasks. Though he looks weak, he is actually fairly robust, but the purple long sleeved outfit he wears only shows some of his chest do to the cut being “V” style. The top and bottom parts of his outfit are purple, the bottoms having bulky legs like a skirt, making them ruffle in the wind. He wears sandals to walk around, but when in battle, he normally takes them off. He has a sash around his waist made of orange cloth. The sash is big in size, considering it is made of nearly 10ft of cloth. He also has red cloth wrapped around his chest and back, which forms a bow that resembles a butterfly on his back. The bow is made of 15ft of cloth, and they might be hiding something considering how big the bow is.
Few know about this, and even fewer have seen it: on Xavier’s back is a birthmark, but it is unlike most, and appears as though it is a ritual drawing. In the middle of his back, there is a circle. Around the circle are runes that are made up of a language of their own: Xavier’s parents searched through every linguistic-related document in Konoha, but couldn’t find anything that identified the runes. Around the runes are what seems to be drawings of the sun and the moon. There are eight of them, and the one at the top is half sun, half moon. Then, around them are 12 stars: the one on the bottom is a five-pointed star, while the top on is a 16-pointed star. Going left from the bottom star, the six in between the top and bottom stars increment from six-pointed to 11-pointed, and going left from the bottom to the top, they increment from 12-pointed to 15-pointed. All of this has a reddish tint, as though it had all been drawn in blood.
Personality:
Xavier has always been more of a quiet person, and never went out of his way to make friends. Any friends that he has initiated the friendship. He believes that he is destined to do great things, no matter how many times he fails. He never likes to taunt others or make smart remarks in a battle unless he knows for sure that he is going to win. He hardly ever exposes any true feelings and is slow to anger unless one makes a joke about death or treats it lightly. If this happens, Xavier tends to have to have a sort of mini-explosion where he reprimands that person in a fit of fury. He is a loyal friend to the friends he has, and his intellect often comes in handy in various situations, seeing as he can recall anything that he has done, been involved with, or seen or heard.

Clan History: To the majority of the shinobi community (including some of the Hōrō Ribon), as far as they know, they started off like most clans: just born with a special ability. But this is not the case. There once was an old shinobi whose son had died in a war. His wife had also passed on, so he lived alone in the woods. Desperate for companionship, he created a kinjutsu, used it, and from a pile of his clothes, he created a human being. He named the man Otoko, and he taught him how to function as a normal human being. They spent many days together talking about many things that were troubling the shinobi world, but as it were, the hermit found that Otoko was lonely. So, he once again used the kinjutsu, and created a woman from some ribbons. Unfortunately, the jutsu was too much for the old man this time, but with his last breath, he named her Sensai. Otoko taught her as the old shinobi had taught him, and the two fell in love. Sensai ended up giving birth to a son and a daughter, but they were then unable to continue a family line. So, Otoko used the jutsu to created seven other couples. For some odd reason, the jutsu had little effect on him. From these couples, the Hōrō Ribon having descended to the clan that everyone knows today. Since the Hōrō Ribon are created of cloth and chakra, they have a natural talent of manipulating it.

It is possible to parry a skewer, but the force of the blow is often strong enough to drive the defending weapon back into the user and allow the polearm to continue at least partly into the defender. If the user is particularly strong this attack can go through one person to hit another behind them.

This arc can hit someone at a maximum of 10ft away, but if the opponent has any metal on them, this distance is increased to 15ft. The arc gives the opponent a little jolt, enough to cause minor pain.

It is most notible for its very fluid acrobatic motions and focuses heavily on leg sweeps, takedowns and headbutts. Capoeira, being a heavily offensive style of fighting, relies less on blocking opponents attacks and instead, through their many movements, prefer to dodge and feint out an opponent.

Appearance: The main body of the weapons are 4ft steel bars. At each end of the bars are what looks like six spoke wheels made of steel as well, two on each end, one on each side of the bar. On the outside of the wheels (matching up with the spokes, as if screwed into them) are six weapons. The two batons differ in weapons, as well as in names: The baton with sickles (Pic Link) is named Scourge, while the one with Kriss blades (Pic Link) is named Calamity. Wheels are painted red, and the steel bar bodies are painted purple.

Special Abilities:
It is able to be enhanced with the user’s element and when it spins, little bits of chakra enhanced by the user’s element shoot off in different directions. Also, with the chakra flowing through the weapon, user can have the weapons or the discs along with the weapons fly off to attack the opponent, and then return and re-attach themselves. The ejection/retrieval ability can only be used once jounin rank is achieved.
Origin:
Xavier was going to meet Viola in the forests of Konoha, but she had gotten there before him and had been savagely by someone or something. With her last dying breath, she gave the weapons to him as the gift that she had already intended them to be. He later named them Scourge and Calamity, for that would be what they would deliver if he were to meet Viola’s attacker face-to-face.

Childhood Arc:
Xavier’s birth was at first a great disappointment. I mean, who would want an albino child, right? But when it turned out he wasn’t albino, and when the birthmark on his back was noticed, the clan decided that he was destined for great things. Then, it went from disappointment to joy, and then to competition. Two other children were born with similar markings, and it was decided that the gods had something in store for whichever one of them had become the most successful by the time they reached the age of 19. While the other parents raised their children as competitors, Xavier was raised to believe that he was still destined for greatness, no matter what the others said or did, for he was the one born first. He was frail as a child, and would lose at competitions with the other two children frequently, but his parents encouraged him, and that was what helped him pull through. Then, suddenly, his support was pulled out from beneath him. His parents, having a curiosity for knowledge, went on a trip together to study nature and it’s habits when he was around 10. They said they would return after three months, but when they didn’t return after six, they were pronounced dead. Xavier never shed a tear for his parents, which disturbed all the clan members. When rumors started to spread about him being heartless, Xavier fled from his grandparents’ house and started living on the streets of Kohona to fend for himself. Around six months later, a rouge ninja entered Kohona, and when he came across Xavier, he attacked him on the spot. Having remembered all his training while he lived with his clan, he quickly subdued his attacker, pinning him to the ground with his sash. He approached the rouge nin and whispered in his ear.
“Promise to never assault this village again, and I’ll spare your life.”
The nin swore he would never even return to Konoha, and Xavier released him. Xavier chuckled to himself as the nin ran towards the village gates. A jounin then approached him.
“You sure have some…unique talents. Since you obviously aren’t a ninja, I suggest you apply out at the Academy.”
Xavier was stunned, for he had never thought he had any possible chance to become a ninja, but he took the jounin’s words of advice at applied at the Academy after a year of training in exile. Soon after his training was up, he was a student at the Konoha Village Academy.
Academy Student Arc:
Xavier was an excellent student. Anything that the teacher had written or said was recorded perfectly and tucked away so he could easily regurgitate it on exams. He was actually highly recommended for small tasks by his teachers, which ended up consuming most of his free time. Seeing as he was somewhat shy and never went out of his way to make friends, any free time he had he spent by himself. Well, that’s how his days went before he met Viola. Viola Yasu was a member of the Yasuika clan, but she had left the clan and changed her last name in a desperate attempt to live her own life instead of being forced to be a housewife for some guy she wouldn’t even know until after she was married to him. She was in the same class as Xavier, along with her brother, Rai, who was sent to watch over her, for the clan was convinced that she would eventually give up and return home as long as nothing stopped her from returning. One day, during a class recess, while Viola was showing her friends how to do origami, she noticed Xavier sitting all by his lonesome.
“Hey, whose that guy?” she asked her friends.
“All we know is his name is Xavier, and that he ran away from home like you, only I’m sure it wasn’t for the same reasons.” One of the girls replied. “Personally, I think he likes being alone. We shouldn’t bother him.”
“No one truly likes being alone. I’m going to go talk to him!” and she got up and left before her friends could protest any further.
When she had reached where Xavier was sitting, she sat down next to him and looked him in the eyes.
“Do you need a friend?” she asked compassionately.
“Well, apparently they are good things to have, and I don’t have any, so…yeah, I guess I do.”
“Well then, I’ll be your friend. My name is Viola Yasu. And your Xavier…”
“I have no last name, or middle name either: nobody in my family does. It’s weird, I know.”
“Not really. I’d do anything to not have a last name right about now.”
And so, the two bonded quickly, and met and talked during every recess, and Xavier helped Viola study. Nearly every spare moment they had, they spent together. Nobody really had any idea, except for Rai, who at one time saw them holding hands, that their bond would develop into love. Rai became worried that this would be something that would stop Viola from going back home. So, he started spying on his sister to see if the attraction was surreal or not. On the day of the final exam, Viola and Xavier met in private. For good luck to the both of them, they kissed. Then they both ran off to get in line for the exam. Rai had decided that the relationship must be terminated, and he made contact with his and Viola’s parents. When Viola and Xavier came out of the Academy and were thinking about things to do while waiting for the results, Rai showed up with his and Viola’s parents, who forcibly picked up Viola and started to head home. Viola then linked with Xavier’s mind and shared her thoughts with him. They made a plan to meet near the outskirts of the thick section of the woods late at night. While Xavier was on his way there, Viola got here early, as to surprise him. Unfortunately, the surprise didn’t go as planned. When Xavier arrived, Viola was laying on the ground. Her body was mangled, limbs bend in un-natural ways, and she had large, gaping wounds that were pouring out blood. There was nothing that his basic training in First Aid could do to save her.
“I’m sorry Xavier: I wanted to…to…to surprise you, seeing as I’m the one who was late every time we planned to get together.”
“Shh. It’s ok: just calm down and stop moving, or you’ll bleed mor…”
“It’s over X…I can’t feel from the waist down, and it’s creeping upward. Here,” she pushed a set of baton-like weapons towards him, “take these. They’re a graduation present from me.”
“But we don’t know if-“
“Of course you passed!” she coughed with pain. “You’re so smart, there is no way you could’ve failed the exam. Please, take them.” He pulled the baton weapons towards him, looked at them, then back at Viola.
“My father made them for me, but I was never very talented when it came to weaponry. I’ve seen the things you can do with a simple pair of kunai, so-“ she coughed hard again, this time projecting blood upon herself. “So I know you’ll make good use of them.”
“Viola…” Xavier was at a loss for words, but the tears streaming down his face said enough by themselves.
Rai, who had been tracking Xavier, arrived but stood back. He made sure he was close enough to listen, but far enough away to not be heard.
“I know we never said it, but I also know that we most definitely felt it. X, I l-l-l…I love you. I love you so much. I don’t want that love to slow you down. Please, don’t give up your nindo. I want you to become the best you that you can be. Please: don’t give it all up on account of my foolishness. Promise me you won’t give up. Promise me!”
“I…I promise.”
“Come on, give me some more gusto than that.”
“I promise!”
“There we go…be strong X. See ya in the next life!” she smiled weakly, then her life faded away.
Xavier closed her eyelids, then looked down at her. He started to sniffle. Rai then stepped forward. Xavier blinked, unknowingly activating his clan’s dojutsu then whipped around and jumped to his feet, ready to take on whoever and whatever it was.
“Don’t you even think that I did this! If you know anything about what Viola and I had, you’ll know I could never have done this!!” he screamed
Rai flinched in fear of looking at Xavier’s eyes, not knowing about his dojutsu or what it could do.
“I know you didn’t do it, but the rest of my family may not be as understanding as me. Your best choice is to leave this village. That is, if you want to stay alive, which I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t.”
“Where am I gonna go?”
“Kirigure is most likely your best option. Head over there and try your best not to cause any trouble.”
As Xavier ran towards Kirigure, Viola’s gift in hand, he looked back and gave as much of a smile of gratitude as one could in his situation. Kai just nodded and headed back towards his home. Xavier blended into the night on his road to escape.
Later the next day, before the impact of Viola’s death hit the village, the graduating class was announced. Xavier and Viola had tied for the highest score.
News of the graduating class reached the nearby villages, so when Xavier reached Kirigure without a headband, the Kiri nin were a little surprised. Xavier said that he simply couldn’t stay in Konoha, and no one asked him any further questions. But, the teachers from the Kiri Academy met up with him, and gave him a Kirigure headband. Xavier was now a Kiri nin of Genin rank.
Gennin Arc:
Xavier hadn’t been doing much since his arrival in Kirigure. His days consisted of training, and spending time by himself, which usually ended up as training. He was training to become stronger, because there was one thing that he knew that no one else ever would. During Viola’s last breaths, she linked with him to show what she saw of her attacker: a pair of orange eyes, with black rings and pure white pupils. He picked up the weapons that Viola had given him. He looked at one: “Scourge.” Then he looked at the other: “Calamity.” Please, don’t give up your nindo. I want you to become the best you that you can be. Xavier’s whole body cringed. Promise me you won’t give up. Promise me!
“Don’t worry Viola: I won’t break my promise. I’ll become the best me that I can.” Xavier gripped his beloved weapons hard.
But some things are more important than others. I‘ll become the best me I can be, but avenging you comes first!

“So, I finally get to spar with the legendary Xavier. Time to show all those losers how much of a loser you truly are!”
“Hmph…” was Xavier’s only response.
“You’re too full of yourself, and I plan to knock you down a peg or two. It’s time for you to…”
“If we’re going to fight, let’s do it. Otherwise, you can just keep on rolling with your monolog and I’ll go home and get something to eat. I’m being fairly polite considering your interrupting my lunch break.”
“You cheeky bastard!” the male shinobi charged with great speed, then went down into a somersault to knock over Xavier.
Xavier easily dodged it with a back handspring, and when he was back on his feet, he flung three shuriken at his opponent, then did some hand signs. When his opponent dodged the shuriken, the sash around Xavier’s waist gained a life of its own and flew towards the opponent’s ankle. To focused on dodged the shuriken distraction, the other shinobi failed to see the fabric coming after him. It then snagged him by the ankle, yanked him off of the ground, and then slammed him back into down. The fabric then expanded to grab the opponent’s wrist. Frustrated and unfocused, the opposing shinobi was yet again unable to stop the fabric, which wrapped around his wrist and slammed him into the nearest solid object, which happened to be the east wall of the local ramen restaurant. After the opponent was sent through the wall, he was yanked up again, and his opposite wrist and ankle became entrapped by the sash fabric. Being bent like a giant “O”, and hovering in mid-air, the fabric then turned into a giant fist and socked him in the solarplexes. The opponent was released, and he tried gasping for air as he collapsed to the ground. He didn’t get up to resume the fight, but rather waved his hand in an effort to declare defeat.
I can’t believe I lost so quickly. I had no idea he could manipulate cloth.
“Really? That’s all you had to throw at me? Well then, if you’ll excuse me, I’m yearning for a turkey sandwich.” Xavier then headed towards the nearest sandwich-selling restaurant.
